The Agri-Food Partnership of the Ionian Islands Region is an institutional cooperation body between the Region and the productive and business sectors of the agri-food field. Its purpose is the support, promotion, and showcasing of the products of the Ionian land, with emphasis on local identity, authenticity, and sustainable development.

The Partnership functions as a channel of cooperation between the Region, local producers, businesses, and scientific bodies. Through this interaction, actions are promoted that strengthen extroversion and link the agri-food wealth with tourism and gastronomy in the Ionian Islands.

In particular, the Agri-Food Partnership promotes the recognition and distribution of local products in the markets of Greece and abroad, strengthens cooperation between production and processing stakeholders, highlights the value of traditional products, and supports the adoption of innovative practices that respect the environment and local tradition.

Within the framework of the OG BEST RUMIN, the Agri-Food Partnership of the Ionian Islands Region plays a vital role, contributing to the promotion of results and their connection with the local market and society, thus enhancing the project’s impact and sustainability. It undertakes the provision of the necessary information and data to the Coordinating Body, the organization of meetings among the members of the OG, and participation in the implementation of the project with emphasis on issues of promotion and productive utilization of the project’s results.
